By the year of 2002, No Lyrics Records was initially idealized by me and two friends as a symbolic title for our own noise and experimental records. Earlier releases were under no kind of organization and actually it is hard to give concrete information about the first tapes in catalog, even because some of them are lost.

In the year of '04 the label was inactive, and in '05 i decided to take it back and work in a more standardized way, with a clear focus on experimental noise, industrial and power electronics.

Releases / Content

I don't release everything that is offered to me! The main focus for a release is the singular thought, the extreme act and personal expression. Artificial noise makers are not interesting for the label. Interesting people and good friends have a high chance to have their stuff released on NL.

There are mp3 clips available of each release. By listening them, you can get some idea what type of release we're talking about. However, they do not give full view of content.

Distribution / Sales

The distribution is made in undetermined time and copies, unless if pre-defined on a certain release. Most of the tapes and covers can be normaly dubbed by anyone, following the D.I.Y. way of distribution.

If you want to distribute NL tapes, ask for master cd-r and covers.

Sales out of Brazil are generally paid through PayPal (noisew@hotmail.com). Anyway, it's necessary that customers contact me first to ask the total price for an order, as the postage price is not included in the releases price.

Promotional material

Feel free to contact me if you are interested in releasing your music on NL. You can send MP3, CD-R for my appreciation of your music. But please, avoid sending me only a link to your MySpace page as it's very unpleasant to access those pages.
